In this project, Bo crafted a beautiful island using waterproof MDF as the base material, ensuring durability and resistance to moisture. This foundation provided a reliable structure that is perfect for the kitchen environment, where durability and practicality are essential.

The island was then covered with a sleek grey mortex finish, adding a modern and sophisticated touch to the piece. The grey mortex not only contributed to the island’s aesthetic appeal but also offered a seamless and easy-to-clean surface, making it both stylish and functional. This choice of material ensured the island would stand up to daily use while maintaining its elegant appearance.

To complete the design, a solid oak top was added, introducing a warm and natural element to the island. The rich texture and color of the oak contrasted beautifully with the grey mortex, creating a balanced and visually appealing centerpiece for the kitchen. Bo’s skillful combination of materials and attention to detail resulted in a functional yet stunning addition to the space.
